In recent days, in the appraisal and election of various scholarships of Shenzhen Universiade International Scholarship Foundation in 2023, Shenzhen University has obtained fruitful achievements. Through strict appraisal and audit, there are 37 students in Shenzhen University wining the sponsorship of various Shenzhen Universiade scholarship with their excellent grades.

It is reported that, the selection standard of scholarships of Shenzhen Universiade International Scholarship Foundation in 2023 for sponsoring students will comprehensively consider Dayun elements, Chinese cultural elements, scientific elements, “the belt and the road”and Shenzhen elements, which awards the excellent, helps the poor, and combines with the awards and sponsorship. When compared with 2022, the application population for the sponsorship this year has increased 77.4%, the student quantity of the sponsorship has increased to 175, which created a new height of the expense of annual public benefit since the establishment of the fund institution.

Among this, there are 6 undergraduates with foreign student status, 2 masters with foreign student status and 17 PHD with foreign student status in our university wining the project sponsorship of undergraduate and above-level education within our country, the population in this project accounts more than 30%; 6 students with foreign student status have obtained the project sponsorship for studying the Chinese language in Shenzhen, accounting 30%; 6 students obtain the project sponsorship for the overseas master’s and above-level education.
