International choir shines on stage in the 40th anniversary celebration of Shenzhen University

As the atmosphere of Shenzhen University’s 40th anniversary celebration became more intense, a series of wonderful events attracted the attention of teachers, students and alumni. Among them, the International Choir of Shenzhen University won the second prize in the video contest of “My Story with SZU” with excellent performance, adding luster to the celebration of the university.

The chorus works “Liyuan” and “Music Without Borders” performed by the International Choir of Shenzhen University fully demonstrated the youth vitality and artistic talent of students of Shenzhen University. With the campus of Shenzhen University as the background, the lyrics of the two works integrate the local customs of Shenzhen, show the spirit of Shenzhen University, tell the story of Shenzhen University, and express the students’ love and gratitude for their alma mater. The talents and emotions of students have been perfectly incorporated into the beautiful melodies and affectionate lyrics of the two works.

The members of the International Choir of Shenzhen University made joint efforts to overcome various difficulties in the rehearsal process before finally presenting this work during the 40th anniversary celebration. They use their songs to convey their blessings to Shenzhen University and express their confidence and expectations for the future.
