深圳是著名的中國經濟特區，毗鄰香港、澳門的國際大都市，是中國經濟最發達、現代化和國際化程度最高的地區之一。深圳大學是中國發展快速、特色鮮明、潛力巨大、深受學生歡迎的大學之一，目前正加速邁向高水平、有特色、現代化一流大學的目標。深圳大學積極招收外國來華留學生攻讀博士學位（以下簡稱留學博士生）。現將具體規定公布如下：

The city of Shenzhen is a well-known special economic zone in China, which is adjacent to the international metropolis of Hong Kong and Macao. It is one of the most developed, most modern and internationalized regions in China. Shenzhen University is one of the fast developing universities in China with its distinctive features, huge potential and great popularity. It is now accelerating its steps to reach the goal of becoming a top modern university. Shenzhen University is actively recruiting foreign students to pursue their doctoral degrees. The specific provisions are hereby promulgated as follows:

 

一、招生專業

Programs

深圳大學目前已經具有博士學位授予權的政治傳播學、新聞傳播學、信息與通信工程、市政環境與公共健康、管理科學與經濟決策、光機電工程與應用、計算機科學與技術、建筑學、理論經濟學、中國語言文學、心理學、大數據科學與技術、土木工程、光學工程、生物醫學工程（醫）、生物醫學工程（工）和生物醫學工程（理） 十七個專業均招收留學博士生。2021年來華留學博士生招生專業及指導教師請查看附件。

Shenzhen University has been authorized to confer doctoral degrees in Political Communication、Journalism and Communication、Information and Communications Engineering、Municipal Environment and Public Health、Management Science and Economic Decision、Optomechatronics Engineering and Application、Computer Science and Technology、Architecture、Theoretical Economics、Chinese Language and Literature、Psychology、Big Data Science and Technology、Civil Engineering、Optical Engineering、Biomedical Engineering (Medicine)、Biomedical Engineering (Engineering)、Biomedical Engineering (Sciences). All the Seventeen programs are available for application. Please check the attachment of 2021 Admission PhD Programs and Supervisors for International Students. 

 

二、 學習方式和學習年限

     Study form and duration

1. 學習方式為全日制。

Full-time study.

2. 學習年限一般為3年，最長不超過5年。

The normal duration is 3 years, with the maximum of 5 years.

 

三、申請資格

   Applicant Qualifications

1. 申請人須是非中國國籍公民，持有效外國護照，身體健康，品行端正，遵守中國法律、法規和學校的規章制度。

The applicant should be non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passports, and should be good in physical and mental health and shall abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules of school.

2. 申請人須具有碩士以上學位，年齡一般在40周歲以下。

Applicants should hold Master’s degree or above, and should be under the age of 40.

3. 申請人的學業成績、學術水平等條件須達到所申請專業的入學要求。熟練掌握漢語或者英語，能運用漢語或者英語進行溝通交流、課程學習、課題研究和學位論文寫作。

Applicants should meet the requirements for admission in academic performance, academic ability and other qualifications. Applicants should also be proficient in Chinese or English, and can use Chinese or English for communication, course study, subject research and dissertation writing.

五、申請材料

Application Materials

請在申請前準備好以下材料，以便在網絡申請過程中上傳。

Please prepare the following materials before applying：

1. 碩士畢業證書、學位證書。應屆畢業生可提供就讀大學出具的預畢業證明原件。(提交預畢業證明申請者，入學后須補充提交碩士學位證、成績單原件及翻譯件。)

Certificate and diploma of Master's degree. Graduates shall provide pre-graduation certificate. (Those who have not graduated from master program, submit a pre-graduation certificate which shows your expected graduation time and present your original certification, transcripts, and translations when you register. )

2. 碩士階段全部課程的成績單

The transcripts of all courses during postgraduate period

3. 兩封推薦信（教授或副教授出具，中文/英文書寫，須有推薦人姓名和聯系方式）

Two Letters of Recommendation (Signed by professors or associate professors in Chinese or English with the name of the referral and contact information)

4. 一份個人陳述（1500字左右，用英文或中文撰寫。內容應包括：擬報讀專業與導師、個人學習與工作經歷、學術研究成果等）

One piece of Self-statement (The self-statement should be around 1500 words, and written in English or Chinese, and should include: the intended major and supervisor, personal experience of study and work, academic research results etc.)

除上述申請材料外，申請人須根據我校的要求，按時提交其他補充材料。

In addition to the application materials detailed above, applicants should submit other supplementary materials in time to the requirements of SZU.

* 各類證明、學位證和成績單必須從有效機關簽發及公證。

All certificates, diplomas and transcripts must be issued and notarized by the valid authorities.

* 所有文件必須經過正規翻譯公司翻譯成中文或者英文。

All the documents must be translated in Chinese or English by responsible translation company.

* 申請材料不全者不予受理。不論錄取與否，以上材料一律不予退還。

Applicants who provide incomplete materials will not be accepted. The materials above won’t be returned whether you are admitted or not.

 

六、錄取流程

Admission Procedure

1. 在申請截止后，我校組織專家評審小組對申請資料進行審核。深圳大學博士留學生的錄取主要對學生進行專業水平和語言能力等的綜合考核，如有需要，可安排遠程或當面面試。

After the application deadline, SZU will organize a panel of experts to review the application documents. SZU will admit doctoral applicants based on the overall assessment of theirs scores and all other supporting documents. During the process, long-distance or face-to-face interviews will be conducted, if necessary.

2. 2021年6月，預錄取結果將以郵件形式通知學生。

In June, 2021, pre-admission results will be sent to applicants via email.

3. 2021年7月，我校確定最終錄取的學生名單，并按照學生在網上報名系統填寫的郵寄地址寄送錄取材料原件。

In July, 2021, after confirmation of the list of admitted applicants, admission materials will be posted to applicants according to the address provided by the applicants on the application form.

4. 被錄取的學生可持《錄取通知書》和來華學習簽證申請表(JW202)到中國使館申請X1簽證，在抵達中國后30天內將X1簽證轉換成學習類居留許可，逾期不辦理相關手續者，將做退學處理。學校不接受持非學習類簽證的學生報到入學。

Students who are accepted should apply for the X1 visa at their country’s Chinese Embassy (or Chinese Consulate) with “Shenzhen University Admission Notice” and “Visa Application for Study in China(JW202)”, and change X1 visa into a Residence permit for Foreign Students within 30 days after they enter China. Students who don’t apply for the relevant visa and residence permit will have to drop out. SZU doesn’t accept students with non-student visas.

5. 被錄取的學生須根據《錄取通知書》上所寫的報到日期和報到地點來校報到注冊，不接受學生提前報到。

Students who are accepted must register at the date and the address according to “Shenzhen University Admission Notice”. Registration in advance will not be accepted.

 

 

七、學費與獎助學金等其它待遇

Tuition fees and scholarship and other fees

1. 報名費: 200元

Application Fee: 200RMB

2. 學費：文科類：34000元/年

理工科類：40000元/年

醫學/藝術/體育類：52000 元/年

Tuition Fee for Liberal Arts: 34,000 RMB/year

Tuition Fee for Science and Engineering: 40,000 RMB/year

Tuition Fee for Medicine/Arts/Physical: 52,000 RMB/year

3. 獎助學金 Scholarship and Grants

(1) 校級獎學金：文科類：34000元/年

理工科類：40000元/年

醫學/藝術/體育類：52000元/年

University scholarship for Liberal Arts: 34,000 RMB/year

University scholarship for Science and Engineering: 40,000 RMB/year

University scholarship for Medicine/Arts/Physical: 52,000 RMB/year

校級獎學金用于抵扣學費。

University scholarship is used to pay tuition fees.

(2) 基本助學金Basic Grants

學校提供每年40000元的基本助學金，分12個月發放。

SZU will provide a basic stipend of 40,000RMB per year which will be offered by 12 months.

(3) 導師科研津貼Research allowance from supervisors

指導教師為所招收的留學博士生提供每月1000元的津貼，用于科研補貼或學術交流。

Supervisors will provide a monthly allowance of 1,000RMB for doctoral students as research subsidies or academic exchange subsidies.

* 延長學習期間的第一年，留學博士生可享受學校基本獎助學金，之后的延長學習期間不再享受上述待遇。

Students can have preferential treatment such as scholarships, grants fees for the first extended year of study. Such preferential treatment is not available from the second extended year of study.

4. 住宿與保險

Accommodation and Insurance

（1）住宿：校內宿舍設置單人間、雙人間、單人套間可供選擇，費用為5400-10000RMB/人/學期。學生需按所選房型自行繳納住宿費。（水電費另外計收）

Accommodation: single rooms, double rooms and en suites are all available. The fees vary from 5,400 to 10,000 RMB for per student per semester. Students need to pay for the selected type of dormitory by themselves. (Water and electricity charges are not included)

（2）保險：400元/學期。外國留學生須購買我校指定的團體綜合保險，注冊報到時到國際交流學院購買，對于未按要求購買保險者，我校將不予辦理入學注冊手續。

Insurance: 400RMB/semester. International students should purchase the group all-risk insurance designated by SZU. Students are required to purchase insurance from the College of International Exchange on registration day. Those who do not purchase the insurance as required will not be able to get registered.

 

八、學位授予

Conferring of Degrees

學習期滿，完成教學計劃規定的課程，修滿學分并通過博士學位論文答辯者，經校學位評定委員會審核批準后，頒發深圳大學畢業證書并授予博士學位。

Once approved by the academic degree evaluation committee, students who have completed all the planned courses and gained all the designated credits, as well as passed the doctoral thesis defense will be awarded a doctoral degree and graduation certificate of Shenzhen University.
