Dear students,
眾所周知,目前中國正在全面抗擊新型冠狀病毒肺炎(NCP),鑒于當前正處于防控疫情的關鍵時期,按照國家教育部的統一部署,學校決定推遲2020年春季學期的開學時間,具體開學時間我們將根據疫情發展情況另行通知大家。
You are most likely to have known about the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (NCP). China is now at the critical stage ofprevention and controlwith all Chinese nationals working as one with a strong will to curb and prevent the spread of the epidemic. Following the guidance of the Ministry of Education, Shenzhen University has decided to postpone the opening of the 2020 spring semester. The specific opening day will be notified later.
在正式開學前,我們強烈建議:
Before you return to the University, we would like to remind you of the following:
在國外的同學請暫時留在本國,在收到學校正式開學的通知前,請不要返回學校;在國內親朋好友處的學生,請繼續在現住處居住,按照當地社區的要求安排生活,在收到學校正式開學的通知前,請不要返回學校;在校內宿舍居住的學生,請按照學校的要求安排自己的生活。
Students who are currently off campus, either outside China or in China, please do not returnto the University untilthe date of return is announced. If you are in China (off campus), please follow the requirements of the local community for the epidemic prevention and control. Students who are currently on campus, please follow the University’s rules and regulations.
根據深圳市出入境管理部門的相關工作安排,現將疫情期間國際留學生的簽證問題告知如下:
According to the Division of Exit-Entry Management of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau, we would like to provide you with information concerning the visa issues.
一、在中國境內的學生
1. Students who are in China
因疫情防控原因推遲開學時間,造成無法及時辦理簽證、停居留證件延期手續的,可減少或免予處罰。相關學生在正式開學后,請及時到學生事務辦公室(綜合樓320)提交護照和簽證資料辦理簽證延期手續。
Those who are unable to extend their visas or residence permits due tothe epidemic prevention and controlcould be given a mitigated or remitted punishment by exit-entry administration authorities. When you are allowed to return to the University, please go to theOffice of Student Affairs (Office 320, Zonghe building)in time to apply for visa extension with your passport and relevant documents.
二、在中國境外的學生
2. Students who are outside of China
因為疫情原因不能在學習居留許可到期前入境的學生,可在正式開學通知規定的報到時間內,持L、F、Q、S等普通簽證入境,入境后請及時到學生事務辦公室(綜合樓320)提交護照和簽證資料,不需要再次提交體檢報告。
持有X簽證的學生,請按照正式開學通知的報到時間入境報到。
Those who are unable to enter to China before their visas or residence permits expire due to the reason of epidemic prevention and control can enter to China with the L, F, Q or S visa during the registration period. After you arrive at the University, please submit your passport and visa documents in time to the Office of Student Affairs (Office 320, Zonghe building). Medical report is not required.
Those with X visa please complete registration in accordance with thenotification for the date of return.
三、已繳納新學期學費且已辦理新學期學習居留許可的學生
3. Students who have paid tuition fees and have obtained a residence permit for studies for the 2020 spring semester
2020年春季學期國際交流學院學歷生和語言生課程都將通過面授方式進行,授課內容不減少、授課總課時不變。其他各專業學院國際留學生課程安排,按照所在學院規定執行。
The Chinese language course of the 2020 spring semester will continue to be delivered in the traditional face-to-face manner. We assure you that the teaching content and hours will remain unchanged. Course arrangements of other majors will be decided by respective college/school.
請各位同學結合自身情況做出以下選擇:
Hereby, we are offering you three choices (you can choose the one that suits you the best):
1、繼續就讀,具體開學時間請等待學校通知,已辦理的學習居留許可將繼續至有效期止;
1) Remain enrolled in the course and wait for the opening day of the new semester to be announced. Your residence permit will not be cancelled.
2、申請休學,不退回已繳學費,學院將暫時取消學習居留許可,即春季學期不到校上課,學費轉為2020年秋季(9月)學期學費;
2) Apply for Suspension of Studies. Your tuition fees will not be returned but transferred to the 2020 Fall semester (September, 2020), and your residence permit for studies will be temporarily cancelled. That is, you will take the course in the 2020 Fall semester.
3、申請退學,已繳納的學費將于下學期開學初退回,同時也將取消學習居留許可。
3) Apply for Withdrawal of Studies. Your tuition fees will be returned to your payment account and your residence permit for studies will be cancelled.
已繳費并辦理居留許可的學生請于3月10日前做出選擇并發郵件至郵箱(jenniferwu_2020@163.com),我校將于3月15日統一對選擇第2、3選項的同學取消學習居留許可,選擇第3項的學生請在郵件中附上護照、居留許可、繳費收據等資料的掃描件。
Please make your decision and email it to jenniferwu_2020@163.com before March 10, 2020. The residence permit for studies of those who choose the second or third option will be cancelled on March 15, 2020. If you choose the third one, please attach a scanned copy of your passport, residence permit, and the payment receipt in the email.
